Synthonia progresses to the next round of the FA Vase with a win on penalties following a 1-1 draw after 90 minutes.
Synners started the game well and after they had a Lewis Porritt goal chalked off for offside, Declan Brown saw his header onto the cross-bar from a Luke Hogan corner on the right.
Alnwick opened the scoring in the 19th minute when a low cross from the right was met by MAX ANDERSON in front of goal who side footed into the net.
Billingham levelled the tie up in the 35th minute as keeper Ben Fairless punted the ball up-field where DECLAN BROWN got in front of a defender to the left of goal and finished well with a near post shot past the keeper.
Both sides had chances in the second half to claim the win in regulation time, but the scorline remained tied and the match went to penalty kicks.
Into the penalties and after Synners saw their first spot-kick saved, keeper Fairless would come out on top with two fine saves to send them through to the next round.
