Synthonia went down 2-1 at home to Chester-le-Street United in this midweek fixture at the Map Group Stadium in Stockton.
The visitors opened the scoring in the 17th minute when a free-kick from wide left into the box was met by REVAN GRIMAUD who saw the ball home from close range.
Synners levelled the game up in the 35th minute with Luke Hogan winning possession on the left bye-line and sending in a cross for LEWIS PORRITT to fire into the net with a first-time shot.
Chester-le-Street United took home the points with a deciding goal in the 78th minute as a ball in from the left reached BRANDON YOUNG at the back post who made no mistake from close range.
