Synthonia welcomed Darlington Town to the Map Group Stadium and took the full three points in a 3-0 win.
Synners created some early chances and found the breakthrough in the 16th minute when MATTY WILLSHAW latched onto a long ball from Jamie Davis on the right and the striker finished with aplomb to give Synners the lead.
Darlington were reduced to ten men in the minute when Stevie Johnson's free-kick from wide right was drilled into the box and an effort on goal from Declan Brown was handled on the goal line from Jonathan Burn. The resulting penalty kick from Matty Willshaw was saved by keeper Philip Pentony.
Billingham doubled their advantage after 35 minutes with MATTY WILLSHAW combining with Brown on the edge of the box before firing home.
A third goal came in the 69th minute when a clearance from the keeper was cut out by Johnson who played back to substitute ANDREW STEPHENSON who sent in a first-time shot which took a deflection off a defender and into the net.
