Billingham got back to winning ways with a convincing 5-0 win in this Friday night fixture at Grangetown Boys Club.

Synners had a dream start when they opened the scoring in the 7th minute with Jake Stoott doing well to keep the ball in play at the left corner flag and crossing into the box where a home defender mis-judged the ball allowing MATTY WILLSHAW to nip in and fire home from close range.

Synthonia doubled the lead after 16 minutes as a long ball out of defence from Luke Hogan was flicked on from Willshaw to debutant RYAN APPLEBY who staived off a defender to fire home from the left of goal.

The lead was extended further after the break when, in the 75th minute, Ethan Harker threaded a ball forward to Lewis Porritt to the right of goal who played across goal for RYAN APPLEBY to net at the back post.

RYAN APPLEBY claimed his debut hat-trick in the 92nd minute when he held off his run to stay onside from Jonny Scotland-Peacock's ball forward to go in on goal and finish at the near post from the right.

A fifth came in the 94th minute with LEWIS PORRITT adding his name to the scoresheet with a close range shot.
