Billingham ran out convincing 7-1 winners over Sunderland RAC at the Map Group Stadium.

Synners opened the scoring after just 2 minutes when Matty Willshaw played the ball left for ASH LAVAN who cut in onto his right foot past a defender before sliding the ball home into the bottom left corner of the net.

The lead was doubled in the 10th minute with Lavan turning provider with a left wing corner which was met by DECLAN BROWN who headed home. Almost a corbon copy goal gave Billingham a three-goal lead after 32 minutes with Lavan again sending in a corner from the left for DECLAN BROWN to head home.

After the break and Synthonia continued to find the net with a 57th minute goal with Brown and Jack Winstanley combining to release MATTY WILLSHAW to the right of goal who powered a shot home. MATTY WILLSHAW then added a fifth in the 61st minute when he headed home Stevie Johnson's right wing corner.

MATTY WILLSHAW would claim his hat-trick after 64 minutes when Brown played the ball beyond the defence where the striker beat the offside to go in on goal and deliver a fine finish past the keeper.

Sunderland RCA scored a consolation goal in the 84th minute when a corner from the right was helped on to ADAM THWAITES at the back post and he shot home.

Billingham added another in the 88th minute with DECLAN BROWN claiming his hat-trick as he latched onto the ball in the centre circle and sent in a first-time hit precision shot over the stranded RCA keeper and into the net.
