Synners played Yarm and Eaglescliffe and lost out to the league newcomers, also having two players sent off.

It was Synthonia who opened the scoring in the 6th minute; Jack Winstanley sent his free-kick from left to right for TYLE MILEY to advance with the ball and send a fine shot past Yarm keeper Ashley Fox.

Billingham had chances to extend the lead with Fox denying Matty Willshaw and then Ryu Williamson shot into the side netting with a shot from an acute angle.

The hosts threatened with a shot from the right which Synners keeper James Young parried away, but they levelled the game up in the 22nd minute with JAYDEN GRAY finding the net with his shot from the edge of the box.

Synthonia were reduced to ten men after 25 minutes when Willshaw was dismissed for an off the ball incident.

Both sides had chances to take the advantage going into the break with Young denying the home side with a great save from a header and then Lewis Porritt for Billingham fired inches wide of the target with a shot from the edge of the box.

Yarm and Eaglescliffe took the lead of the game in the 66th minute when a throw-in from the right was headed onto THOMAS ATKINSON who turned in the box and shot home.

Synners threated with a Liam Travers corner from the right finding Jonny Peacock who's header was creeping in before Fox finger-tipped the ball over.

Billingham found themselves down to nine men in the 84th minute when Lewis Heap received a second caution following a challenge in the Yarm penalty area.

The hosts then wrapped the game up deep into added-on time when they were awarded a penalty kick which was converted by JOSH LARKIN.
