Jarrow threatened again with a free-kick into the box resulting in a shot across goal from the left going to the back post and a shot just wide. Billingham started the second period better and came close when Jonny Peacock played inside from the left for McLeod who swung a ball in to the back post where Luke Hogan volleyed on goal which White was a match to with the save.

The visitors advanced and a shot from Lytfur Karim went wide before Synners attacked again with Lewis Poorritt making a good run on goal; White again denying with a good save.

A strong run on the right from Tyler Miley saw him bring the ball out of defence into attack which resulted in him trading passess with Porritt before having his shot blocked by a defender. Then a long throw-in into the box from Peacock came to Alfie Simpson who headed just wide of the near post.
